Roumanian Christmas Carols Bk 1 for Brass Quintet

For brass quintet, Bartok (1881-1945) wrote in all disciplines in a contemporary style. His Roumanian Christmas Carols were composed in 1915 and divided into two sets of 10 carols each. The first set, transcribed here for brass quintet, is an exciting tour-de-force that can be performed year-round.
