Even if authorship was once attributed to him, it is unlikely that J.S. Bach is the true author of this fugue. It could be possible be the work of one of his pupils, even though the theme's distinctive style and the arrangement of the magnificent finale display Bach like traits. Joe Keith has arranged this piece for Brass Quartet with 2 Bb trumpets, Trombone and Bass Trombone.
